What is your COVID Safety Protocol?

Where is the theatre located?

The theatre is in Lakewood’s 40West Arts District at 1560 Teller Street. We share the building with CHAC (Chicano Humanities & Arts Council). It is located just inside the intersection of West Colfax & Teller Street on the right hand side, a block east of Wadsworth.

Is there free parking?

There is abundant parking around the building. Signs indicating private parking are for our location and our patrons are free to park there without concern.

What time should I arrive?

The Lobby and Box Office opens 45 minutes prior to showtime, and seating begins approximately 30 minutes before curtain. Seating is general admission, so be sure to give yourself time to grab your preferred seat. Due to the intimate nature of our theater as well as the disruption to patrons and the artists onstage, late seating is not permitted.   

Are tickets refundable/exchangeable?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets purchased through our website can be exchanged for another date, if necessary. Email info@benchmarktheatre.com to request a performance exchange. Tickets purchased/acquired through 3rd party vendors (Goldstar, Vettix) are not eligible to be exchanged.

Is there a minimum age or adult content warning for Benchmark productions?

Each show varies and there will be clear communication of the age restriction for each production. However, out of respect for the actors and fellow audience members, children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to any production.

Are there concessions available?

Benchmark has a variety of beverage and snack options that can be enjoyed in the lobby prior to, or after the performance, as well as taken into the theatre to enjoy during the performance.

What if I have special seating needs?

Benchmark is able to welcome all guests. If you need ADA or any other specialized seating arrangements, please email info@benchmarktheatre.com before you arrive to allow us time to prepare your accessible seating.

Can I bring my pet?

The Benchmark Family loves our pets, but only certified service animals will be allowed in the theatre out of respect for the actors and fellow patrons.
